## About this dashboard

SaaS MRR/ARR Forecast Dashboard follows subscription growth across Starter, Growth, and Enterprise pricing tiers. It separates logo motion from MRR motion, showing new and churned logos alongside new, expansion, contraction, churn, and ending MRR for a clearer view of recurring revenue development.

Outputs include ARR by tier, total ARR, ARPU, net new ARR, NRR, GRR, CAC payback, subscription revenue, gross profit, EBITDA, and EBITDA margin. The supporting workbook contains tier prices, mix, churn, growth, cost, and go-to-market assumptions; the dashboard reports the resulting 36-month subscription and P&L outputs.

Use the dashboard for fundraising and board reporting, annual operating plans, pricing analysis, and retention reviews. Test tier mix, logo churn, expansion, and acquisition assumptions to see how recurring revenue translates into operating investment and EBITDA over the forecast period. Compare customer and revenue retention separately when reviewing growth quality with stakeholders.

## Frequently asked questions

### How are MRR and ARR related here?

MRR is the monthly recurring revenue balance produced by the logo and MRR schedules. ARR is the annualized run rate of ending MRR, calculated as ending MRR multiplied by 12, with totals also shown by pricing tier.

### What subscription motions are separated?

Logo motion shows opening, new, churned, and ending customers by tier. MRR motion separately shows new, expansion, contraction, churn, and ending MRR, so customer movement and dollar movement can be reviewed together.

### How are NRR and GRR calculated?

NRR uses opening MRR plus expansion, less contraction and churn, divided by opening MRR. GRR excludes expansion from that numerator. Both metrics use the period's opening MRR base in the supporting calculations.

### Does the dashboard include a full financial model?

It includes a focused P&L through subscription revenue, gross profit, S&M, R&D, G&A, EBITDA, and EBITDA margin. It is a subscription planner; balance sheet and cash flow detail would require a separate downstream model.

### Can I test pricing and retention changes?

Yes. Update tier price, mix share, churn, new-logo growth, expansion, or contraction assumptions in the supporting workbook. The dashboard recalculates tier balances, retention metrics, ARR, CAC payback, and P&L outputs.
